The Macmillan Support Centre is on the ground floor of the Cicely Saunders Institute. The purpose of the centre is to provide a welcoming and relaxing environment for patients, carers or family and friends of people with cancer or other long term conditions. We aim to offer information and support, both locally and nationally, as well as utilising our onsite networked computers to encourage patients to self-manage through contacting support groups and obtain robust, reliable advice online.
The centre is run by a full time Centre Manager and a team of volunteers. It is open Monday-Friday 10.00am to 4.00pm.
We work alongside both the clinical and academic teams from the Cicely Saunders Institute to improve facilities for service users.
If you would like any further information then please contact the Centre Manager, Chiara De Biase, on 0203 299 5227.
