Study at the Cicely Saunders Institute, a world-renowned centre of excellence in palliative care, and a WHO Collaborating Centre for Palliative Care and Older People.  The Cicely Saunders Institute is committed to providing the finest palliative care courses to improve the delivery of high quality care to patients with advanced disease and their families, wherever they are cared for.

With the development of the Institute, we are expanding our PhD research opportunities, combining social science, psychology, nursing, medical and health services research to influence clinical practice and national and international policies for palliative care and rehabilitation.

We offer palliative care courses including a multi-professional MSc, PG Diploma and PG Certificate in Palliative Care, with a highly regarded faculty of lecturers and tutors and with students from across the world.

Our undergraduate doctors’ programme (integrated over a 5-6 year curriculum) is one of the most comprehensive in the UK in palliative care within the large medical school of King’s College London.  King’s College London is the largest provider of healthcare education in Europe.
