The Dissemination, Engagement and Empowerment (DEE) programme includes dissemination to healthcare professionals, policy makers and funders, along with consumer collaboration and public engagement.

The programme will include the production of activities, communities and resources including:

A lecture and events programme; 

An online activity programme; 

Networking and resource development; and, 

Press and public relations.

DEE will focus on raising awareness, informing and engaging audiences, and promoting the outputs of palliative care research including the results of BuildCARE’s IARE programme.

The programme will raise the profile of palliative care by presenting role models to build future capacity by attracting talented individuals to the profession, and will help to prepare society for the implications of an increasingly ageing population.
