We hold many research collaborations with other academics and departments in both palliative care and rehabilitation, both within and outside the UK. We work closely with other organisations such as Cicely Saunders International and the World Health Organisation (WHO).  The department has recently been designated a WHO collaborating centre for palliative care and older people.  WHO reports - more information.
 
The department participated in the Compass Collaborative, an NCRI Supportive and Palliative Care Research Collaborative and continues to host a monthly seminar series here at the Institute.  Details are on the Events page.

As well as departmental links, several members of staff have international links.

We co-ordinated PRISMA which is a Europe-wide research collaborative of partners in Europe and Africa which seeks to improve measures and outcomes for patients and families.
