Scientific board

The Directors and Management group will be advised by a Science Board.

The terms of reference of the Science Board are:

  • Foster collaboration between research programmes and organisations
  • Participate, as appropriate, in research programmes and grant applications relevant to the centre
  • Contribute to and oversee research governance
  • Review Scientific Output
  • Advise on the scientific strategy development and research themes
  • Advise on the design of studies
  • Advise on relevant funding opportunities
  • Ensure user and patient involvement



Current Scientific board members

There are 21 Scientific board members.  Of these, 10 are also on the management board and are listed on the Mangement of the Centre page.
